OT: Jim Rome on ESPN?

While watching the Stars/Ducks game last night, I see this commercial advertising that "Rome is burning"?

Anybody heard or seen this yet?

Hopefully he will be cohosting with his buddy, "Chris" Everett.

How this knob keeps getting shows, I couldn't say. It will be a one night a week, hourly live show.

Jim Rome must have something very incriminating on some of these tv execs. You talk about a guy that won't go away....

Ahhh, nothing like a "Chris" Everett Flashback.. I believe Rome's Show was called Talk2, as everything on The Deuce (ESPN2) at that time had the number 2 following the title..

What happened with Rome and Fox anyway? I thought his radio program was still through Fox Radio or one of its subsidiaries.. Is he moving to ESPN Radio as well? Yikes!

I miss the old Alcorn State Football Games with Steve McNair at QB.. They had pretty much every game of his Senior Season on the Deuce.. I'd love to see the network show some Lower Division College Football again.. Why not the Ivies?

...and I also miss the all lower-case goofy looking fonts they used for everything..

The Deuce is also where I got my first glimpse of Suzy Kolber..

I don't know, I like the old CBS College Football intro. But these were a close 2nd.

Ahh, another solid choice. As for nowadays, I like Fox Sports Net's College Football Intro Music.. They usually show a Big 12 or Pac-10 Game as well as some Regional Stuff..
