You sure about that? Can't find nowhere in the rules where it says so.

Reason I asked is because I fired my coach tonight, and the next 11 coaches

I now have a passable coach and that will have to do for now.

If anybody can confirm the loss of training when you fire your coach, pleas let us know!!!!

BTW, that weak coach ain't worth crap, at least not if you are serious about your training...

Not in the rules, but straight from the training page:

When you fire the coach one of the junior coaches at the club takes over. All clubs have the chance to find a good coach, regardless of youth squad quality. Economy, team spirit and of course the training itself are affected.

I think the training is affected by the quality of the coach. If you fire a passable coach & get a poor coach, your training is obviously going to be worse.

had to go through quite a few coaches, and after firing 6 I finally found an inadaquate coach. Was best I got and could not risk firing another with the chance of getting someone worse. He also likes a strong defensive game, so things should workout there.

I'se seen people post in the conferences that you should wait until after the training update to fire a coach or you lose training that week. Never done it though and never will, so not 100% sure.

Thanks again, robb!

Vince . . . I'd seriously think awhile before firing your coach if you already have a passable. While you could be one of those disgusting people like sterlingice () and snag a solid in 2-3 tries, more of us decent people have gone WELL into 6-figures just to get a passable (a couple of hundred thousands into it, I had to settle for an inadequate). And if you end up with an inadequate instead, you're looking at one extra week of training for a pop instead of perhaps a week or two of PIC and perhaps a few thousands for a clown. So, uhhh, think on it a bit before you pull the trigger.

Crap, I'll live and learn... Too late to go back anyway. I'll let you know if my training has any kind of problems. I might never know, since I might not have any player pop and it could be just normal... Oh well, I'll keep you posted.

The way I understood was the way NevStar said it, btw...

Well after having a 3-1 lead, the boys let in 3 straight, but that was not the worst, they seem to have some dirty players . . .

Not sure, because I have also seen people post about MOTSing and firing every match. Usually it was a suggestion to others, so I don't really know if anyone ever did that. I just don't want to risk losing a week of training, so when I fire my coach, I'm going to wait until Friday. You should be able to tell if your players train by looking at their value. Some chages could come from an small form change, but yuou should likely be able to tell if your players got trained.

That's true, about the change in value. I didn't think about that...

I'll let you know if my trainees values change or not...

After letting in an early goal, the Slime come back and win in a convincing fashion, 4-1. I am happy, not only for the win, but for the $100K I'll be getting next week for two home games. ::drool::

Thanks to this decisive win, I am now a firm believer in the 4-5-1.

And my run comes to an end. I play an incredibly talented Div IV team with a keeper whose value is 1/2 that of my entire team, and who regularly gets 4 stars.

But at least I'll lose to a fellow 4-5-1 user.

Well this isnt really an update... I got WORKED. Last time I checked it was 6-0 other guys.

But my mission was accomplished, I fooled my opponent into thinking I was going to MOTS him with my first-team, while instead I went PIC with the janitor and his 10 friends.

Ah well, $35,000 for that beatdown.

I NEED A FRIENDLY OPPONENT.. BADLY!!!

How about it? Last Week I decided to go the Int'l Route, getting my a$$ handed to me by a Swedish Squad.. That was a nice, fun trip.

I need a Home Match next week as 3 of my next 4 League Matches are on the Road..

How about a Home-and-Home with a fellow FOFC'er? Someone? Anyone?

Thanks!!

Sure thing Myles, I seem to be having issues getting to HT right now, but when I can I'll accept, and a Home & Home series sounds fine to me.

Be sure to bring kayaks for the game at my place, I've yet to have a home game not played in a torrential downpour yet.

Thanks for the heads up Daed...I don't think I'm going to end up firing my coach. He's pretty good. Oh well...the Isla Vista Vandals are also looking for a friendly, as long as it's not overseas.
