London trades
SP Henock Thuku(ML) and LF Jorge Gonzalez (ML))
to Portland for
C Mark Gehringer (A) and RF Jose Zuniga (ML)

It's never easy trading the best pitcher in the game, but with my cap issues and having to sell of a good chunk of my offense, I'm afraid Thuku was going to be nothing but the Roy Halliday of FOOL-X...A great pitcher on an average team. Now that he is in his 30's I figure I might as well sell high.

Gehringer is only the best catching prospect in the game...both at the plate and behind it. He's got a long way to go, but he may be making allstar teams long after Thuko is retired.

Confirmed. A definite win-win here. They get the best catching prospect in the game and a guy with an expiring contract. I get a good defender to replace him and a guy who really gives me what we lacked last year and what hurt us massively in the post-season last year I believe.

The contract is steep, but...I've got another prospect at catcher and by the time those kids develop, we'll be in a completely different phase, so...if we're gonna for it, I couldn't pass this up.

i've placed both SP Thuku and LF Jorge Gonzalez on my AAA roster so I can do my lineups.

I left an open spot on my big league club for Zuniga...he does not need to placed in any lineups as he is spare parts coming off the bench.

Can you please put Mark Gehringer in A ball. I will leave the catcher and #3 spot in the lineup open for him if you could please insert him.

Or if you process the deal early and upload a new file then I can do it myself! (please import first though as i have done a mess of roster moves)
