I haven't played a hockey game in a few years. Do these games actually play like real hockey yet? Do offenses set up in the zone and move the puck around? It seems like these games always turn into constant, arcadey rushes up the ice, shoot, rebound, shoot, gather puck, rush the other way, shoot, save, rinse, repeat.

Yes, they do.. and quite well, although IMHO NHL 2k7 wasn't even close to NHL 07 (Troy thinks the opposite). I doubt I'll choose it over NHL 08 this year, but it was an interesting read to say the least.
A sleeper I'll keep my eye on. |

I was just going to ask....I pre-ordered NHL 08 (got an extra 20% on trade-ins) but having not played any of the hockey games I wondered if the 2k series will be better.

I've told myself if NHL 07 ran at 60fps, it would be perfect.. well, this year I'm getting my wish. |
