New "Leon" Budweiser Commercial

Well, at least I THINK it's new. Anyway...

I was under the impression that Leon was a running back, yet in the new commercial, we see him on the practice field wearing number 87. I'm disturbed by this.

I think this whole campaign is another case of doing one pretty funny commercial, but not understanding what was funny about it and taking the concept too far.

He is also shown as 87 in-game in the second most recent AD.

I agree he definitely appeared to be a running back in earlier ads (3 fumbles, not enough blocking, etc...)

Budweiser should fire their continuity director.

I personally loved the one on the bench.

I think they are all great. It's the perfect parody of today's pro athlete.

In the newest one ive seen during todays GB/SEA game he is a WR, talking about losing his job to an undrafted rookie and then warning the rookie how he could possibly be maimed or killed by going over the middle. Not only was it unfunny but it was just odd, I agree that the concept was either taken too far or has just run out of steam.

That's the latest one I've seen and it wasn't even remotely funny.

Why can't people just let great things fade ? Why does greatness need to be run in the ground????

Yeah, i was in the hallway having a smoke and was just listening to it but I did a double take during the "get killed" line and I asked my buddy if I heard it right.

It's Budweiser, what do you expect? They still think they make good beer.

My favorite was the one where the interviewer was asking the question, "So Leon, you're a veteran who's had a great career, so since joining a new team you've been having trouble. What's the reason for that?"

"Well, first I have to look at myself. But since you and I both know that's not it..."
