Having a hard time deciding.....

.....who i should start in my fantasy football league this weekend. For the first time ever, i have made it to the championship game. I've excited, but nervous also. My mind keeps trying to talk me into doing something stupid, so i would like to turn it over to the folks here. I need 1 QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR/TE. Here are the playas.......

QB--I have Culpepper starting, pretty much by default asn Collins is hurt.

RB--Big dilemma, i actually thought about starting both Priest and Blaylock, but........

Holmes, Blaylock, Tiki Barber, Dominick Davis, Garrison Hearst

WR/TE--Chris Chambers, Jimmy Smith, Javon Walker, Reggie Wayne, Tony Gonzalez

K--Jeff Wilkins

Def--TB

Please talk me into what to do guys......Please.

Get as many Chiefs and Vikings in the KC-Minn game as you can. (Except.. only 1 RB).

Is Davis healthy? If so, I'd go Priest and Davis at RB.

The only reason i tought about playing 2 Chiefs ar RB is because last week, they had 35 combined points (Holmes-24, Blaylock-11). Could that feat be duplicated this week you think?

I'd be cautious of starting both Blaylock and Holmes. Blaylocks yards last week were from receiving so, I wouldn't put money on repeating that feat. Of course, I usually try not to start more than 1 RB or WR from a team. The odds are just stacked that you won't get 2 solid games from a sames teams WR/RBs (100 yards/1 TD. Roughly 15-20 points).

I'd go with Davis myself.. I'd start Blaylock over Barber though.. I think the Giants are way past done.

One more quick question........I have Javon Walker, but Robert Ferguson is available for pickup. Would that be a wise move? Sounds like Walker might be limited with the bad knee. If i pick up Ferguson, i have to start him. Or would Jimmy Smith be a better start than either?

definitely avoid Chris Chambers... I don't see things going too well up there in Buffalo.

Wasabiak,

Probably a little too late but, on Ferguson, just to hit and miss with the GB receivers. Even being a Packer fan, I would stay way clear of any GB receiver. Just too hit and miss.. Only offensive player I'd stick with is Green or Favre (If your league doesn't subtract for INTs..). But, if you had to pick one, I'd go with Ferguson right now.

Who did you end up picking for your lineup?

That Min/KC game was weird. My neighbors must think i'm completely whacked, because i cheered every time either team scored.

Update--Dominick Davis manages to squeek in a last minute TD, thank goodness. Wilkins had a subpar day by his standards. I'm currently up 57-25. He has M. Hasselbeck, B. Westbrook, K. Barlow and T. Owens going right now. No question, a very daunting group. Going to be a very scary next 2 hours. Then tonight, he has M. Harrison and i have R. Wayne. May come down to that, unreal.
