My suspicions are further stoked by the drug revelation specifically because I'm wondering why she didn't just lie to him. This conversation is just a little hard to imagine:
Admitted Mass Murderer: "You got any reefer?"
Unwilling, Fearful Captive: "No, but I've got some ice. You want that?"
She doesn't come across as the sharpest knife in the drawer by any means, but I'm having a hard time fathoming how she thought that geting him high would help make her more safe.  |
Especially on meth. It is not a "calming" drug.
