It's a really good thing when a game like this one seems routine: a twelve-point win over a conference opponent that features good shooting, solid defense, unselfish play, and balance. We could have been more accurate from behind the arc, but that's how this year's Villanova team rolls.

A shout out to Seton Hall's guards for their accurate long-range marksmanship.

A misstep by Syracuse against Boston College returns us to the top of the Big East.
Record: 17-2 (5-1).

As if they'd read what I just wrote, the boys prove they can shoot threes tonight, coming back on very short rest to beat St. John's. Kai Smith is the possible exception, but that's not really Kai's game.

Dan O'Halloran dominates the paint defensively on a night when his shot won't fall. Dan's stats aren't as glossy as they were last year, but I'd argue he has a more balanced team around him. We don't need 20-and-12 from Dan every night to win.
Record: 18-2 (6-1).

The Huskies discover that it's almost impossible to win when you commit 28 turnovers. We force a number of them, but they're also very careless.

Asaad Richardson has an off night, but the rest of the guys play well. It's not a spectacular win, but they all count.

UConn has a player named Graham Boss. Yes, he is.
Record: 19-2 (7-1).
