Dan O'Halloran's absence pushes more of the responsibility for scoring onto Israel Moody and Asaad Richardson, and they respond spectacularly. Roman Holloway plays well in his first career start, and Weston Wagner is productive in extended duty from the bench.

Having players like Holloway and Wagner keep us out of trouble when injuries, foul trouble, and fatigue take their toll on our starters. We can let O'Halloran heal completely before he returns to action without sacrificing our chances to win against tough opponents.

We avoid turnovers and create lots of them, and that's a winning formula for us.
Record: 14-2 (2-1).

Is Boston College an example of a Big East team that inflated its reputation by beating up on a weak lot of opponents in November and December? They don't play like the #10 team in the country--on their home floor--tonight.

Asaad Richardson enjoys his second big game in a row. This time, he sets a new career high for points. Israel Moody is an especially disruptive defender, calling attention to an aspect of his game that's often overlooked.
Record: 15-2 (3-1).

We move up a spot in the polls after a Duke loss, and we play like we deserve our ranking in a nicely balanced victory over Pitt at Wawa Arena.

The full range of Kai Smith's talents are on display. He makes the night even more special by scoring his 1000th career point. His understudy, Scott McMasters, combines with him on a 14-assist, 2-turnover point guard masterclass.

Georgetown lost to UConn over the weekend, so we climb to second place in the Big East, a half-game behind Syracuse.
Record: 16-2 (4-1).
