Joel Campbell received scholarship offers from Lafayette and Temple this month, too. We're at the top of Joel's list, and I'm feeling good about our chances to sign him in a couple months.
The Roman Holloway sweepstakes seems to be a two-way contest between Pitt and Villanova. We're the only two schools on his list, and he ranks us behind the Panthers.
Jesse Gill got an offer from Boston College, and now he lists the Eagles as his top school. If he doesn't attend Villanova, I hope he goes to North Carolina. I'd prefer not to have him as a Big East opponent.
I'm taking closer looks at two players who might become part of Plan B. Armando Anderson is a four-star center from New Jersey who averages 34 PPG. Point guard Everett Huffman, who's averaging almost 26 points and 13 assists per game, might become the first junior college player I've ever signed. We'll see if their evaluations match up with their gaudy stats.
For now, my offers will remain unchanged.
