W1G3 CGY at OTT
The defending champion Aces got quite a bit stronger on defence without losing much on offence due to a changing of the guard at lead halfback. Veteran power RB Ronnie MacDonald flips to a supporting role as Avis Short takes over with her quick burst style. Calgary fired HC Kenyon Fox, so Jonathon Jesse takes the helm. CGY added 3 defensive players in the draft and got much stronger on offence thanks to progression.
CGY WR has an excellent game in a losing effort as OTT HB Avis Short runs for 2 zones on the final play to seal a close win for Ottawa!
