Sorry for bringing this up again but I got out my tapes last night and watched a number of episodes, including this one. It really is a testament of how perfectly this show and episode were scripted, acted and of course, narrated. But as many fans noted, it was also the great choice of music throughout. By the end of this particular episode, if you are not already crying, you will be when Linda Ronstadt's (or Karla Bonoff's)
Goodbye My Friend starts right at the perfect time.
