So, with the 95 Jabril Peppers card, I’m upside down but it might work out. The in-demand limited editions tend to rise in price after they’re no longer being supplied to the market. I got mine at what felt like a low point of 400k, then lamented here when the card was selling at 500k a few hours later.
Anyway, it calmed down, and when it gradually got back to 400 I bought two more copies… planning to hold for a week or two and sell somewhere higher. But the card bottomed out around 330K, and that’s been grating on me. No point is writing an expurgated version of the story, so there it is… I messed up. It’s back up to 360k now, and the card is no longer available in packs, so… maybe I’ll end up clearing some coins. But not even close to the max.
Alas. Can’t win them all.
