1/11/03 - away at Dag & Red, 6th in the Conference. Substitute striker Lewis Killeen had only been on the field for four minutes when he scored the only goal of the game off a corner in the 87th minute. His first goal ever for the Rovers netted us an excellent 1-0 win!

The board make an announcement that they've been very pleased with the results so far this season. Newspapers write that we "might still be favorites to go down but the start [...] to the season has certainly been encouraging".

5/11/03 - at home vs Stevenage, 11th in the Conference. The team turn in what could be their best performance collectively, so far this season, and we win comfortably by 4-1, with Odejayi and Offiong getting two goals each.

12/11/03 - at home vs Margate, 14th in the Conference. The visitors get the upper hand at first with a goal in the 34th minute, but Odejayi tied the score just before halftime. In the 81st minute we got the winning goal on a cross from the left by Allen, which Offiong turned into a half-volley shot past the keeper. 2-1, Rovers!

After the Stevenage game we climbed the standings to 4th place, and this latest win got us up even further, to 2nd place! There's five teams within four points from second place, however.

22/11/03 - away vs Aldershot, 6th in the Conference. We come crashing down today as Aldershot win 4-0, one goal came on a penalty after Stepanovs was called for hand-ball. Despite the bad result, our midfielder Paulinho was very good, as he has been for a long time now. To reward his consistency, I put out an official press release praising his contributions to the team.

29/11/03 - at home vs Shrewsbury, 16th in the Conference. This one is no contest as Offiong score as early as in the 6th minute and Odejayi add two more goals for a 3-0 win. El Khalej picked up a groin injury and will be out for a month.
