Having lost a brother who was shot to death while on duty as a police officer many years ago I can understand the families feelings of loss and subsequent revenge. But, I don't think this case is anymore newsworthy than the thousands of murders that occur each year in america. The only factors that appear to attractthis media attention seem to be that she was white, apparently from a well-to-do upper class family and was allegedly killed by non-american. I wonder ............If anyone would anyone care about this girl two three months after she disappeared if she was poor and black?
