I'm excited. It's my first game as manager in the World Cup. The English squad is primed and ready. Our first match will be against Uruguay. They have a very talented team with star strikers German Hornos and Fabian Etoyanoff both being dangerous. Hornos is playing for Valencia and he had 20 goals for them in 38 games. Estoyanoff had 19 goals for Milan in 34 starts last year. Ruben Ariel Olivera is a good right winger who has been playing for Atletico de Madrid and he has 7 assists in 25 starts. Diego Cardozo is a 22 year old centreback who has been regularly starting for Deportivo and he has been playing devastingly good defense. Gustavo Munua is a legendary keeper who is making his 126th international start! He is 36 but is still playing for Mallorca, primarily as a back-up. He is still a talented keeper. They are a good team, but we are expected to win.

We are 4-5 favorites.

It's sunny with temperatures in the 80's. This WC is in China.
