Tim Howard played well but not great in the USA's 2-1 win over Serbia & Mont. DaMarcus Beasley had the first goal at the 12 minute mark on an assist from Adu in which he sliced a pass between two defenders. Daniel Karbassiyoon had the second goal at the 88 minute mark on a great assist from Robbie Russell. Serbia's keeper won MoM.

Salva played brilliantly for Italy in their 2-0 win over Argentina.
