Newcastle have paid 22 million to land Dion Dickhoff from Aston Villa. Dickhoff can play sweeper, defender, or midfielder and he is a very skilled player, but he is 28 already and I think they overpaid a bit.

Today we play Liverpool in the 2nd leg of our English League Cup Semi-Final. Liverpool are the holders of this, but we are up 5-3 on aggregate. We just need to hold serve at home. However, I'm taking nothing for granted and pulling out most of my best players.
We are 5-4 favorites.
