well, if you're looking for overall improved offense with only 1 striker, you need to work on your midfielders' passing. what kind of ratings do your middies and striker have for the passing skill?
i recently upgraded my inners to solid passing across the board and i've been getting great (solid and better) offensive ratings even with backup strikers. my wingers weren't even that good...both were passable wingers with weak passing (i just bought some new ones with the $ i got from selling my 17 year old formidable goalie, tho :P). granted, i play with 2 forwards, but passing is the key to offense!
