St. Louis Signings

The St. Louis Rams are pleased to announce they have come to terms with 3 unrestricted free agents. The newest Rams are punter John Jett, CB Harvey Foster, and safety Harvey Bradley.

Jett signed a 1 year deal worth $2.57m, but GM Pyser thinks he's worth every penny. "Our punting has been attrocious, even since Landeta retired. I couldn't watch another game where we were pinned inside our own 20, and hit a 30 yard punt or shorter. John Jett brings a huge leg, and invaluable experience." Look for last year punter, Geoff Green, to be released before the season starts.

The Rams also brought in former Philly CB Foster. Foster missed most of last season with a knee injury, and will probably never play up to his former level. But Pyser was happy to bring Foster aboard. "Foster excelled in Philly, and players don't forget how to play. That said, we aren't asking him to start. We think he will add tremendous experience to our secondary, and even better, hes only in his 5th year. Youth was absolutely key in this signing. Besides, we didn't give him a signing bonus. It's a risk-free contract."

Finally, the Rams added 6th year safety Bradley, who will back up Walton at safety.
