Well, you heard it here first. The Colts had considered trading all-star QB Tom Brady this off-season, but now appears he will stick.

What many may not realize is Marc Bulger nearly became a Colt in 2004. The deal would have included WR Isaac Bruce, and brought QB Peyton Manning in return. However, Manning ended up being shipped to the Saints instead, and in a seperate trade, Indy landed Brady. Bulger, of course, led the Rams to two straight super bowls by staying with us.

But we now know how much Indy loves their backup QB Ingram. A Brady trade would have been a shocker, indeed.

Bold prediction here (but obvious): Look for Indy to let one of their DE's walk, and make a strong pitch for uber-affordable Detroit f/a DE Mitchell Sanders.
