Cornerback's
Samari Rolle - Our aging anchor. In fact, age is the key word in this secondary. FOUR corners are in their 10th year or older! But Rolle had 6 picks and was fantastic for us. A keeper.

Patrick Surtain - Another old guy who never recaptured his 12 pick magic of 2003. Am thinking of trading this solid CB, who posted a pdpct over 20, and quietly had a better season than Rolle, but didn't have the picks to show for it.

Jason Sehorn - 14th year corner who has the hidden talent of moving seemlessly to safety if we need him to. Versatile and cheap, but injured almost all of last season. Will probably return, but cant be counted on much longer.

Fred Weary - 11th year corner who is absolutely stellar at man to man coverage. But, of course, was injured all last season. We welcome him back with open arms. Much more important than he looks.

Oscar Jamison - Finally, a kid. Got a ton of playing time due to injuries, and performed solidly. Might get caught in a numbers crunch, though, with all the healthy players returning. But it's tough to turn your back on youth.

Mickey Willis - Our 5th and final undrafted rookie free agent from last season. Didn't play much, and almost certainly wont be back. Currently unsigned and available in trade.

DeJuan Groce - Another cheap corner who could move to safety if we needed. 6th year, like him as a nickel back, but even more as a punt returner, which has kept him on the team. We have too many CBs, and something will have to give, but we always need special teamers, too.
