| Southies trailed 18-31 but scored and got the 2-pointer to close to 26-31 with 6 minutes left. Georgia took the ball and went 3-and-Out and, when the punt went only 21 yards, the Gamecocks loked poised for an upset. However, 4 straight incompletions killed their chances and the Buldogs escaped.
