| As so often seems the case, the Championship game is a bit of an anticlimax. In this one, Cal turned the ball over 5 times, leading to a 31-7 Nittany Lion lead into the 2nd half. Penn State cruised from there, winning their 2nd National Crown in the past 3 years.
