With another month comes another Team Board appraisal. Them who were once delighted, then very pleased with my managerial performance, are now only pleased (and I would almost say "barely pleased")... I really have to turn things around, or be have a bit more luck in balls going INTO the goals...

Achievement News
Sol Davis is named on the League One Team of the Week.

Player News
Alex Bruce is the latest to show his unhappiness. Like many others, me included, he thinks the team is underachieving.

Chris Coyne now thinks the same. He's a bit nervous too, since he still thinks I have signed replacement to take his place, even though I have played him each and every time he's been healthy.

Jacob Burns is also unhappy, but pushes it one step further. While all the other were still willing to remain at the club, he wants to leave. He has not requested to be transfer listed, but he clearly says he has lost confidence in my ability.

Transfer News
I had reported about Sunderland'S 32yo keeper Brian Jensen. Valued at 80k, Sunderland are asking only 48k for him. I'm bold and offer 36k.

The next day, we get news that our offer has been accepted for Jensen. We can talk contract with him.

He is seeking a contract of $5400 per week, but is currently earning $1600 per week. My assistant thinks he would become a useful first team member, a nice praise, and recommends we offer him $3400 per week. While the Team Board would allow me to offer up to $5400 per week, I offer him what my assistant recommends, $3400 per week.

Training News
Chris Coyne resumes training after his physiotherapy. The specialist who treated him is optimistic that he has recovered fully from his injury. Let's hope that taking this course of action in the future will mean that recurrence of injury will is less and less...

Injury News
Speaking of injury, Neil Mellor twists his knee in training and will be out for a week. I will seriously have to sit down and take one hard look at my training schedules... Someday...

Two days later, it's Lee Morris who twists a knee, out for 2 weeks. WTF!!! Are there holes in the newly upgraded training grounds!?!?!

Contract News
Brian Jensen rejects our first offer but is willing to negotiate. He now believes Luton doesn't have the resources to meet his demands. Say what?!? I off him as much as the Team Board will allow me, which is what he was first looking for, $5400 per week.

Player News
Unhappiness has now spread out to most of the first team. I feel like I'm about to have a mutiny on my hands, this is not pretty...

Contract News
Brian Jensen accepts our offer and signs with Luton Town! In the media, he says he is looking to get his career back on track at Kenilworth Road. This fits me well, I'm looking for a leader in the nets to put our team back on track...
