| Fresno kicked 3 FGs to lead 9-0 at the half as RB Tim Brice fumbled twice to shorten the field. A 41 yard INT return for a score closed the gap in the 2nd half but the Vols still found themselves down 17-20 midway through the 4th quarter. Tennessee shut down the Bulldogs and proceeded to go on an 11 play drive that took 5:48, capped off with the winning TD with 0:42 left in the game.
