End of Season review
Two of our players made the Pro Bowl, RG Sammy Delgado, who was responsible for much of Leland Nixon's success, and K Brent Diaz, the 20 year veteran who was picked up after training camp because no one else wanted him.
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and already advanced to the next season, so all of this year's team stats were lost before I could share them with you. However, I do know that we had the second highest scoring season in team history at 23.2, while having the fourth best season in points allowed in team history (16.8). Our rushing yards dipped a bit from last year as we ran for 135.9 yards per game (3rd most in team history).
Leland Nixon had a pretty successful season. He matched last year's average of 3.61 per carry, as well as last season's 16 TDs. His total yards rushing fell just under 70 yards to 1642 on 454 carries. His fumbles drastically dropped, from 13 last season to 7 this year.
