One main reaction... Joe Murphy, Chris Coyne, and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson all believe that Horton is right and that avoiding the drop will happen without too much effort. I find this reaction a bit overconfident. I would not say it will happen "without much effort"...

I tell Horton that I'm confident that my team can avoid relegation. It translates into the paper as me saying I have every faith in my team's ability and come the end of the season I hope to be proved right.

I've always found that compliment to be sort of backhanded. "Although others may consider him to be a useless football manager...." Who are these others talking about me behind my back?
