| The game was tied 7-7 at the half and the Vols led 10-7 after 3 quarters. That's when Oregon's QB threw INTs on three straight possessions. The first 2 INTs led to short TD runs by true freshman RB Tim Brice, who was given the start in the game. The 3rd INT was returned 58 yards for a clinching TD as Tennessee opens the season with a win.
