Behind the scenes:

Once again, 3rd down percentages and turnovers give us a game. But give credit to our star power: Eppbright, Ingram, and Hackett played fabulously on offense, and our young defensive line gave us a salivating glance of what's to come in years ahead. The way we're rolling this season, we need to look to a state championship. We may never have a chance this good again.

Around the conference:
Garnavillo and Lansing won (in case you don't believe me about Lansing's improbable season, they are dead last in the NFC in scoring, yet sit at 6-3), while Valley of Elgin enjoyed a bye and North Winn won, setting up our matchup next week.

North Winn is 6-3 and poses a legitimate threat to our UMVC title. Their offense isn't worrisome (they only scored 10 on us last time, and they're beat up now), but their defense is intimidating, especially in the secondary. If Ingram has a good game, we should win. If he falters, we might get upset.
