Match #6: away at Tranmere
odds: Luton 7-4, Tranmere 5-4 (fav)
S: Showunmi/Tarachulski/Blinkhorn
AMC: Bridge-Wilkinson
DMC: Evans/Chambers (with up arrows)
D: Davis/James/Davies/Keane (no up arrows)
GK: Murphy
The 3-4-3 didn't work three days ago, let's unwrap the good old 4-3-3. They show the same kind of 4-4-2 than the one they played three days ago.

39th minute: After a great pass from Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, Matthew Blinkhorn and Enoch Showunmi are faced with only one defender and the keeper in the box. Blinkhorn passed to Show, but the keeper blocks his shot. Don't know how he did that, great save. Still 0-0

Tied 0-0 at the half. Both teams have 7 shots, both teams with 3 on goal. Possession is split45/55 in their favor.

70th minute: Their keeper gets a loose ball and tries a low pass that's too close to Matthew Blinkhorn who deflects it toward Enoch Showunmi. He's left with a one on one with the keeper, whom he beats with a precise strike. We're up 1-0.

The injury time looks freakishly long and as one of their strikers bore down on goal, we hear the final whistle. We won!

Final Score: Luton 1, Tranmere 0
Shots (on target): Luton 12 (6), Tranmere 15 (5)
MoM: Tranmere's Kevin Cooper with a 9.
HoM: Many players have ratings of 8, in fact 6 of them have. Most notable are Paul Evans and Sol Davis. Evans completed 31 passes out of 42, with 4 of them key passes and he also intercepted 7 passes. Davis completed 22 of 27 passes and won 9 of 12 headers, 5 of them key headers.

Possession: (us/them)
our zone: 13/27
middle: 20/21
their zone: 13/6
Overall: 46/54

We only moved up to 18th with the win...

The Luton Team Board is extremely pleased with the win. I'm thinking that with the odds that were put for us, they'll be pleased with just about every point we'll get this season The board are not the only one who are happy with the win, it's a major morale booster as all starters now show superb morale. Maybe it'll help us steal a point or two in the coming match.

That was a costly win though, as I learn that Bartosz Tarachulski twisted his knee in game. He will miss 2 weeks.
