I leave it up to the individual platoon commanders to do what is best, but sterlingice...be CAREFUL! Infantry assaults against armor can get deadly, and my suggestion would be to withdraw to an area where you have at at least two hexes of visibility all around, otherwise those fast moving infantry platoons will be on you before you can hit them! However, you know what is best for your men and so defer the decision to you.
