Without knowing the lay of the land, I'd like to use the LT Samifan's eastern squad and pump them with some lead. If that creates a diversion, I'd like for my squad to fall back to a more favorable defensive position. If that's not possible I'd like to create a crossfire. That should quiet their rifles down.
