We are changing tactics. We are going to try to jack up academic performance to new heights. That means our old syndicate dude has got to go. Bye bye. Pack your bags, buster. The new guy:

Walter Boyd (50)
Academic Eligibility: Terrific
Syndicate Investigations: Terrible
Solicit Donations: Excellent

Walter should be a key element in our goal of raising Notre Dame academics above that of the best Ivy League schools, otherwise known as "saving my job".

Now let’s see how BJ has done as offensive coordinator. Here are his updated ratings.
B.J. Brooks
Play Calling: Terrible
Injury Avoidance: Lousy
Rehabilitation: Lousy
Congeniality: Terrific
Quarterbacks: Terrific
Running Backs: Terrible (+1 level)
Receivers: Poor
Offensive Line: Lousy
Kickers: Good
Run-and-shoot: 1 Year

Clearly BJ has too much experience to run our offense. And after the job he did with QB Goodwin last year, it would be a mortal sin to let him run the O this year. As they say on The Brady Bunch, “You are the weakest link! Bye!”

Um, on second thought, after looking through the ranks, April Fools! You can stay. (No one else is anywhere close to being as bad as this guy!). We’ll just change the offense to screw him up this year. Being wishy-washy is a sign of good leadership, right?

We actually decide to keep our defensive coordinator for a third year. As with our offensive coordinator, there is no one close to being this bad out there. His current rankings:

Defensive Coordinator
Brain Longfellow
Play Calling: Terrible
Injury Avoidance: Lousy
Rehabilitation: Poor
Congeniality: Good
Defensive Lineman: Decent
Linebackers: Lousy
Secondary: Lousy

Ok, enough with the hiring. We leave our scouts as they are. I’m bored with this stuff. Let’s go make a schedule!
