Oh my goodness! This is terrible! This really makes it likely that the TCY “have one bad year after a great one and get fired Jim Gindin view of reality” thingie will clobber us if we lose a lot of games. Unless we can do something to mitigate losing a lot of games, we will surely get fired if we have a lousy year. Damn it to all hell. I think we are screwed now. Sigh. We will continue but this is just horrible news. Hope seems faint. The Notre Dame campus has gone glum. All is despair. We have some tricks left up our sleeve, but will they be enough?
