After an offensive holding penalty on the first play from scrimmage, Ohio tries to run off tackle and all-everything Herman Sanderson drops him for a one yard loss! Ohio gives it to Matthews on 2nd and 21 and Sanderson again blasts him, this time for a 3 yard loss, bringing up 3rd and 24 at the Ohio 6-yard line. A false start penalty makes it 3rd and 27 (good grief). Ohio's Saleaumua runs a trap up the middle for a 16 yard gain (tackled by Thurman Arnswaldt & Neal Hollins). Big play, but still a 3 and out

Looks like our first pass attempt...Kenny Spragan can't find anyone open so does it himself with a 5 yard scramble - first down!
