I have to go and say the family thing first. Watching my two sons peacefully sleeping is the closest to anything perfect I could have. Not so much because they're quiet, but simply because they look so much at peace when they sleep that I'd want to take a bite out of them...

About material things, many people have mentionned blankets and such, for me, it would have to be our cotton jersey knit sheets. They simply feel like sleeping in one huge, well worn t-shirt...
