| It was Over When... | ...the Vampires couldn't get a first down on four out of five third-down plays in the fourth quarter. The only time they did so, was because the Sixpacks was flagged for defensive holding. A big part in that was the injury to QB Freddie Mathias with 8:34 left in the game.
| The Game Ball Goes To... | ...WR Ronald Tibbetts. Not only for scoring the game's only touchdown, but also for big plays that set up all the other scores as well. A 9 yd punt return leading to the first FG, two catches for 8 and 13 yds for the TD, a 17-yd reception leading to the second FG and a 16-yd punt return down to the Detroit 39-yd line before the last 3-point kick.

Hurst had completed a 59-yd pass to WR Alden Roy to set up the opportunity, only to see it slip away. Las Vegas could advance the ball to the Ice's 13-yd line before time expired.
