Benton quickly draws his sword and rushes to a strategic position which will allow him to jump in front of anything bearing down on the party.

Benton, who has trained himself to hear danger approaching, notices a faint sound of russling in the bush, but defering to the Monk's obviously razor keen senses asks Puli, "Can you tell how many?"
