One of the things I realized is that the playing time bug is affecting teams we play against as well. No wonder RB Floyd is getting so many yards: he’s cheating!
Recruiting
All five of the idolaters are on board now, which is unfortunate as they are the more higher ranked recruits on our list. That leaves us room for only 11 others.
Rudy candidate Brock Gray is coming to town! Yes, after six long weeks of thinking, Gray has decided to make the trip to South Bend. I wonder if he can fly unsupervised. I better go get him. Just for the hell of it, I call him ten times and visit him eight times. I love spending Notre Dame’s money.
Game 6
Pregame
We’ve slid back up to #22. This week’s matchup is #47 West Virginia. We are 12-point favorites.
Result
Another down day as we roll 41-14 over West Virginia. Sigh. WR Lonedork gets a TD pass and 116 yards receiving, RB Floyd gets 132, and even Stephens hit a coffin corner kick that pinned West Virginia at the one. The coaching staff is glum and hopes of a sub-.500 season are fading.
Report cards next week though. Maybe they will bring some bright news!
