Weekly Financial Update

Youth Pull

This week’s youth squad product is nothing to write home about, but should still garner at least a little bit of income for the club. For those of you out there thinking about training strikers, give Dante Webb a look.

Dante Webb

17 years old, passable form, healthy

A pleasant guy who is calm and honest.
Has disastrous (1) experience and weak (4) leadership abilities.

Nationality: U.S.A.
Assessed Value: $21,000
Wage: $600/week

Stamina: Weak (4)
Playmaking: Poor (3)
Winger: Weak (4)
Scoring: Inadequate (5)
Goaltending: Disastrous (1)
Passing: Poor (3)
Defending: Poor (3)
Set Pieces: Poor (3)

Although only rated as inadequate in scoring, Dante is just 17 years old, and should therefore train up rather quickly. We’ll let the market decide what we can get for him. He has been transfer listed at $1,000.

So What Will You Do With All That Money DK?

Some of you are probably wondering why I am content to just sit on over $400,000. I’ve decided that, instead of purchasing some better players for the club, I am going to save cash for a while. The reason for this is simple; I want a better head coach for my club. Look at the teams in America’s 3rd Division and you will see that nearly all of them are solid coaches. We’re going to need the same thing here at SSFC eventually, and I am generally pleased with the quality of our players. So we’re going to bite the bullet now, and save. I have heard that $500,000 is a safe estimate for what it will cost to get a solid coach, so hopefully we will have that by the end of the season.

Up Next: We have what looks like an easy match this Sunday, as we host the new team in series IV.49, The Cheats. Stay tuned!
