As a mage and a student of history, he had heard of this great wizard of legend, but had relegated many of the old stories as myth. The knowledge and power that could be gleaned from such ancient artifacts was nearly beyond comprehension. Baldar could not let any of the Candle Mages's secrets fall into the hands of any, other than Prytian wizards
