As I read that article about the Stars, I can't help but feel a little good about the Hawks. They started playing the young talent some last year and a lot this year which can only help in a league where building from within is going to become a much bigger factor. Now, there's no way I give Chicago management much credit for this because they never seem to have any foresight and were probably just doing this to pocket a buck. But unintentionally, they might have done something right.

As for the next round, it seems kindof pedestrian. Also, it seems like a lot of series that won't go the full length. In all except maybe Philly-Toronto, I see one team just taking control.
