Same 'Ol Jets
Hempstead, NY - Despite the changes in the Jets' front office the team is off to a slow, 0-2 start. After flat losses to Washington and Miami the Jets find themselves in a must win situation in Week 3 in which the travel to face the Patriots.
The Jets have lacked the fire that sent them to the Divisional round of playoff last season. Last season under quarterback Chad Penninton the team reeled off 8 wins in the final 11 games, followed by a wooping of the Indianapolis Colts, only to be followed by a loss in Oakland for the second consecutive season. Pennington, who has been compared to the likes of Namath and Montana, appears to be the team's franchise, and under Pennington the team is looking to make changes that will grow with their young budding superstar. However, in two games this season the team has looked confused, making mental mistakes that have been costly.
Many look at the Jets as a team that will need time to adapt to their new coaching staff, while others mumble, "same 'ol Jets."
