New York Jets at New York Giants

The New York Jets came out and beat up their cross-town rivals, the Giants by a score of 31-20. The Jets looked sharp early, especially Pennington, who completed 12 of 14 passes for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bollinger continued his surprising play, completing 11 of 13 passes for 91 yards and 1 touchdown. Chad Morton got the his most work since USC, carrying the ball 16 times for 64 yards. Rookie wide out Tyrone Calico caught 8 balls for 74 yards.

The defense held the Giants to 337 yards, unfortunately the Giants did have a set back, Kerry Collins while attempting to throw a pass was hit and dislocated his elbow. Collins is expected to miss at least the first half of the season.

The Jets conclude their preseason next week in Philadelphia.
