Jets Sign Punter Dan Stryzinski

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) The New York Jets signed free-agent punter Dan Stryzinski on Monday to replace Matt Turk, who was released earlier this month.
Stryzinski was let go by Kansas City last month. Stryzinski has nearly four times as many punts inside the 20-yard line as he does touchbacks (271-73) and he has a 40.1-yard gross average and net average of 35.8 yards.
He also has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons during his 13-year career.
