Samuel Zavallos was sold earlier this evening for $165,000 to French 3rd Division side Asse-Online.com. $151,800 of that found its way into the club's coffers.
We're looking at approximately $450,000 in the bank at the end of this week. We have about $200,000 earmarked for stadium improvements at the end of the season, and another $100,000 labeled as "reserve funds." This is in case of emergency, such as a rash of injuries at one position.
This leaves us with about $150,000 to play with right now. No decisions will be made until we see how the team performs tomorrow against the Cedar Pond Horned Toads, but at this level $150,000 is nothing to snicker at. We're exploring some intriguing possibilities.
