Week 13 Training Update

Someone has been suspiciously quiet as of late. Arlen “Headcase” Lucas has never been the most indiscreet or quiet of players, but he really hasn’t made that much noise this season. Perhaps he is beginning to be overshadowed by the likes of Reg Nichols and Javier Tejeda. But Headcase definitely made some noise on the practice field this week, and has displayed an improved ability to move the ball of the wing and deliver some nice cross-passes to our strikers.

We figured that the overall form of the club was just about at it’s peak, but were proved wrong this week as it rose even higher. The one real reason for concern is Reg Nichols, whose play has been dropping off a bit as of late. He’s still good enough to retain his starting spot, at least for now, but had best watch his back.

In The Zone

Midfielder Gino Behling and defender Sven Svensson both fell out of the zone this week, but were replaced by three other players. Our list of players in excellent (8) form now sits at five:
