Mataram Enters the Modern Age
Janaury 25, 1764 - Our Weapons manufactory in Bastar is completed.
April 13, 1764 - Oregon expands. I issue more settlers to the colony.
May 9, 1764 - We have founde a colony in Buriat! While our colonization attempts to Enkan were unfruitful, I can now order colonists to Buriat, which I do.
October 1, 1764 - The peasants in Chin are rebelling against our rule.
October 4, 1764 - Our colonization attempt to Buriat has failed. I order more to follow.
November 4, 1764 - Oregon expands and is now a small city.
We have defeated the filthy rebel scum in Chin.
And Russia has offered us an alliance. I decline the Russian offer. I need to court Vijaynagar into an allaice with us, and I can't do that with you yappering around.
Oregon:
An interior province east of Nehalem and souteast of Columbia, the 726 people here work the fur trade sending us 15 ductas and shipped 6 to Nehalem.
I order walls built here.
I also send a Tax Collector to Sergino.
November 28, 1764 - I am offered the opportunity to build a Great Palace in Bali. I choose to do so. Our aristocracy and centralization polices both increase by one, 500 ducts are deleted from our treasury and we gain much praise (25 victory points)
January 25, 1765 - Our colonization attempt to Buriat has failed. I order additional settlers to the gold mines.
March 19, 1765 - I issue a State Gift to Russia. Our relations hardly improve.
June 10, 1765 - Buriat expands and more settlers interested in gold set sail from Bali's shores.
July 25, 1765 - Our attempt to covnert the Sunnis in Chin has failed.
September 1, 1765 - The rebels in Chin are defeated in battle.
October 1, 1765 - Howrah is rebelling.
October 13, 1765 - Buriat expands. More settlers are en route.
October 18, 1765 - rebels in Howrah are crushed.
January 21, 1766 - Vijaynagar joins our alliance! Excellent!
February 19, 1766 - Colonization to Buriat has failed. More colonists are dispatched.
March 23, 1766 - Afghanistan has accepted my invitation to join our alliance.
July 1, 1766 - Our land technology has
increased.
July 6, 1766 - Another colonization attempt to Buriat has failed. I dispatch additional settlers.
July 15, 1766 - Vijaynagar grants us military access.
November 10, 1766 - Buriat expands and more colonists set sail.
November 27, 1766 - Vijaynagar has agreed to be Mataram's vassals.

December 20, 1766 - I order a Tax Collector sent to Oregon.
February 1, 1767 - Chin is rebelling.
February 18, 1767 - Chin's little rebellion is quashed.
March 13, 1767 - Buriat expands. One last wave, hopefully, of colonists are on their way.
March 14, 1767 - We have gained a Great Reputation and our relations with China, Vijaynagar, Zimbabwe, Taungu and Russia are increased.
May 1, 1767 - Our naval technology has advanced.
July 1, 1767 - Howrah is rebelling against our rule.
July 19, 1767 - Rebels in Howrah are put down.
July 22, 1767 - Colonization to Buriat has again failed so even more colonists are sent.
October 17, 1767 - Inquisitions in Da Nang and Cambodia have both failed.
November 11, 1767 - Buddhist rebels in Da Nang have been defeated.
November 16, 1767 - Buriat expands, and with the locals, is now a full province.
Buriat:
A short trek down the Siberian Corridor and you are at Buriat. The 1622 people here work the gold mines and send us 46 ducats annually.
I promote the mayor to governor to rule the colony.
December 1, 1767 - I send colonists to Ob.
December 24, 1767 - Heretics in Cambodia have been eliminated.
December 25, 1767 - Missionaries are sent to Da Lat and Irrawady.
January 3, 1768 - Another Missionary is sent to Chin.
April 19, 1768 - Ob expands and more colonists are sent.
September 11, 1768 - Our colonization attempt to Ob has failed and more settlers are en route.
November 7, 1768 - Sweden offers us a Trade Agreement. I definately take it.
November 15, 1768 - I order Chief Justices set up in Da Nang and Krasnoyarsk.
January 28, 1769 - Ob expands and additional settlers are sent. I also send another group of settlers to Enkan to see if they take.
April 22, 1769 - We have gained an explorer in Trivandrum!
I order traders to Ekimcan, Baladok, and Kamenkoie.
June 14, 1769 - Ob again expands. More settlers are shipped out.
June 20, 1769 - We have founded a colony in Enkan. I order more colonists to the province.
September 19, 1769 - Attempts to establish Trading Posts in ALL THREE PROVINCES have failed, despite a 70% chance for sucess in two of them an a 54% chance in the other.
My Minister of Colonization lost three fingers, one for each failure.
October 28, 1769 - Enkan expands and additional colonists are sent.
November 2, 1769 - Ob expands as well. We send more colonists there too.
March 4, 1770 - Enkan expands and more settlers are dispatched.
March 23, 1770 - Colonization to Ob has failed. I send in more settlers.
May 9, 1770 - Our Inquisition to Taiwan has failed and the Konfucians there are rebelling. Another Missionary is sent.
May 25, 1770 - Taiwanese rebels have been crushed.
June 25, 1770 - The End of a Great Feud between noble families of Mataram has increased our stability. We send them a gift.
August 12, 1770 - Ob expands and more colonists are dispatched.
December 19, 1770 - Enkan fails to expand. More colonists are sent.
December 29, 1770 - Ob expands and becomes a full colony.
Ob:
West of Angara and north of Tomsk, Ob is a fairly typical province for the area. Trading furs, the 1197 people here create 12 ducats for us and 6 in Novgorod.
May 1, 1771 - Enkan expands and more colonists are en route.
August 10, 1771 - We have acquired a monopoly in Isfahan.
August 12, 1771 - Corruption in our government has lead to 10% inflation. TO combat this, I order Governors in:

Khandesh, Raipur, Sambalpur, Palakimedi, Hyderabad and Bombay
SE Asia:
Cambodia, Santal
Indies:
Palawan, Mindanao.
September 12, 1711 - Our colonization attempt to Enkan has failed and more colonists are dispatced.
October 1, 1771 - Our naval technology has increased.
January 20, 1772 - Enkan expands. One last wave of colonists with gold fever are sent forth.
May 28, 1772 - Enkan expands.
Enkan:
A gold province on the coast in the Northern reaches, the 1621 people here work the mines sending us 26 ducats.
I send a colonist to Kamcatka and another to Palana.
June 1, 1772 - Our land tech increases.
July 5, 1772 - New Minerals Have Been Found! The mines in Wewak have incrased production.
October 20, 1772 - We have founded a colony in Kamcatka! I order more colonists in.
However, our expansion in Palana, the northern end of Kamchatka, has failed. I order more settlers here, though, too.
March 15, 1772 - Both Kamcatka and Palana expand. And two more sets of colonists set sail for Kamchatka.
July 18, 1773 - For the next year, Mataram will benefit from having an Excellent Minister.
August 5, 1773 - Again, Kamcatka has expand and Palana has not. I order more colonists to Palana.
November 1, 1773 - More colonists embark for Kamcatka.
December 1, 1773 - Rajputana is rebelling. We defeat them a week later.
December 26, 1773 - Colonization to Palana, despite 70% chance of taking, has again failed.
I will not tolerate any more colonial failures.
More colonists are dispatched.
March 6, 1773 - Kamcatka expands.
May 6, 1774 - More colonists are en route to Kamcatka.
May 21, 1774 - Palana expands.
June 8, 1774 - I have ordered a Weapons Manufactory built in Kalar.
August 7, 1774 - Settlers embark from Bali harbor to Palana.
September 11, 1774 - Kamcatka expands.
November 1, 1774 - Chin is rebelling.
November 16, 1774 - More colonists bound for Kamcatka embark.
November 26, 1774 - Rebels in Chin have been defeated.
December 26, 1774 - Palana expands.
Palana:
North of Sredny Hrebet on the Kamchatka Peninsula, the 1115 people of Palana fish. They send us 14 ducats yearly and 5 to Kansai.
I order a Tax Collector built here.
March 21, 1775 - Kamcatka expands.
Kamcatka:
The southern tip of Kamchatka, the 5619 people here also fish. 17 ducats are sent to us and another 5 are generated in trade at Kansai.
By edict, walls are built here.
