In the locker room, an argument breaks out about who blew the coverage that allowed the touchdown, but it is silenced quickly.
Fulmer praises the defense for their work thus far; this is a team that scored over 30 last week. He lets them know we're going to really need their help if we're going to win this.
The team breaks into smaller groups and our offensive coordinator takes charge of the offense. We go over what has worked and what hasn't. Syracuse has done a good job shutting down our running attack, but we're committed to running the ball and we won't shut that down. I'm asked if I feel comfortable out there throwing.
"As long as it's not play action", I respond, "they're all over when it's play action. Drop back passes seem to be working OK."
Before I know it, our time in the locker room is done, and it's time to go back out onto the field.
